Do you like shooting? Do you like shooting cheap without breaking the bank? Do you like shooting from 50 to 200 yards?

If you are not familiar with PSA’s AKV, you should be. Some time ago I did a review on it after getting to test one at PSA in South Carolina, I kid you not – this was love at first round downrange. I have not really done any follow-up videos because it was hard to improve on perfection.

I’m Drew, welcome to Beyond Seclusion where I only give you my honest opinion. If you follow my channel, you know I love shooting 9mm, PCCs, and pistols out of everything I have shot, tested, and reviewed, the AKV is one of my number one picks. I can’t think of anyone who loves shooting guns like this and doesn’t or will not like the AKV. Why? Take a look and see for yourself.

This is from my first review of the AKV. Alright, I just found my AKV right here. This is the one that’s coming to my house. Nice, straight out of the box from PSA.

We put, I don’t know how many thousands of rounds through them out there. We never had one single jam or anything. Now, I’ve got my own and I’ve had the same experience. This thing is awesome, it’s crazy stupid accurate, straight out of the box, using the iron sights here at 50 yards. It was dead on. I was hitting at 100 yards, we took my SIG Romeo 5, which is one of my favorite red dot optics.

Ok, so how could this get any better other than if they gave it away for free, right? It is so manageable. My son at 11, with the original review. This is him shooting it, of course, he’s 13 now and about two feet taller. Check this out!

Yeah, ok, so obviously it’s manageable, low recoil and as I showed – accurate. So, if you heard of Franklin Armory, for me, I know them best for their binary triggers. Just recently I got a hold of one of their newer BSFIII AK-C1 triggers for the AK fire system. They have two different versions – one for the nine, and the other for the standard calibers. So, you just saw the short and sweet version of my AKV. Now let’s just check it out with a BSFIII C1 in it, you might wanna have a seat for this.

Okay, let’s just see how this trigger feels. Well, that’s nothing new. We got a thing here. Let’s try this. Now, that was new. Let’s try that again. That was 10 rounds. Ok, so we’re about 25 yards back here, about 75 feet. I wanna shoot as fast as I can and see how many I can actually keep on the steel.

And that was 30 rounds.

Okay, I wanna try it with some different rounds here. They’re not probably going to be subsonic because of the length of the barrel, but let’s give it a try with my can.

So, did that improve on the AKV? Install was simple and easy. Franklin Armory has a great install video out there. I included that in the description below. There you have it. It is what it is, you decide what you think. I hope you enjoyed the review, found it helpful. If so, support the channel, be sure to hit that subscribe button. This alone is a huge help and support.
